With the help of my horses and clients over the years,  I have been able to perfect formulations for most common problems.

My Artisan Skin Balm which was developed to treat mud fever, greasy heel, Qld Itch, bites, rubs, burns and stings has turned out to be a very good wound healer as well.

Gai and Warren Lowrey from Armidale NSW say it is the only wound healer they use on their Stock Horse campdrafters, and recently used it to heal a deep wound to the bone.

The Artisan Skin Balm is hand made and pot set by infusing organic Calendula Petals and Hypericum Flowers into organic olive oil, then adding beeswax which preserves it plus a little Garlic essential oil and another potent anti-bacterial and anti-fungal herb.  The Garlic component keeps flies away from wounds and irritated skin, which is another bonus of this excellent all rounder ointment.

My lovely grey horse Orlando helped me develop a shampoo just for him, and we loved it so much, we thought everyone else would too, so Orlando’s Coconut & Lemon Myrtle Shampoo was born!

When he first came to me several years ago, he was prone to fungal infections on the face and lower legs as his immune system was low, so he needed treatment from the outside and the inside. But he also needed a shampoo which would keep his impressive tail silver white.

Orlando’s Coconut & Lemon Myrtle Shampoo is based on pure Castille and Coconut Liquid Human Grade Soap which is deeply and gently cleansing, with a little Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil to provide anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and a gorgeous aroma.  Orlando is also a grub and loves to roll in dust and mud, and is expert at getting it under his rug, and being grey you can see the dirt really easily! This shampoo cleans his coat up beautifully.

Another wonderful product for summer is Fabio’s Comfort Spray, which helps keep the biting insects at bay. Read more about Fabio’s Comfort Spray and watch video HERE.
